چکیده

Cadmium (Cd) is considered as phytotoxic in nature, its toxicity on the plant development decrease antioxidative enzymes activities under stress environment. Castor (Ricinus Communis L.) a metal tolerant and ability to survive highly polluted soils. exhibited high level of Cd soil buildup antioxidants i.e., super oxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) malondialdehyde (MAD) top ground parts stress. grown treated for 30 days various levels 0, 10, 25 50 mg kg-1 treatments. Stress caused by heavy effects reduced growth, biomass, castor respectively 25- against control treatment. Our results indicated that significantly enhanced contents root, stem leaves. The POD SOD enzyme were increased 215.30 µmol/g-1 53.20 U/g control. While, MAD chlorophyll content 3.11% 0.48%, proline 2.23 1.75 µg-1 decreased According Pearson’s correlation our research work exposed strongly positive relationship with shoot, malionaldihyde. Although destructive was demonstrated PoD activities. Hence, this study recommended can grow soils phytoremediation

Genetic analysis of castor (Ricinus communis L.) using ISSR markers

Castor (Ricinus communis L.) is one of the most ancient medicinal oil crops in the world. It has been vastly distributed in different parts of Iran. In the present study, the inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers were used to evaluate the molecular genetic diversity among and within 12 castor accessions collected from 7 regions of Iran. Totally, 16 ISSR primers amplified 166 loci...

The amino acid sequence of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) and castor (Ricinus communis L.) cytochrome c.

The amino acid sequences of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) and castor (Ricinus communis L.) cytochrome c were determined by using 1.5mumol of protein from each species. Both molecules consist of a single chain of 111 amino acid residues and are homologous with other mitochondrial cytochrome c molecules. Both have an N-acetylated ;tail' of eight amino acids and two in-N-trimethyl-lysine residues, a...
